Sheffield Wednesday’s Pierce Charles is the subject of transfer interest going into the final few weeks of the transfer window.
The Owls have already seen a number of their key players leave the club this summer.
Sheffield Wednesday sold Djeidi Gassama to Scottish powerhouse Rangers earlier in the window.
Josh Windass has explained why he left the club, terminating his contract alongside Michael Smith.
More recently, it was reported that Rangers want to sign Pierce Charles, while Southampton and Leicester City were also interested.
An update on the goalkeeper’s situation has now been shared this weekend.

Pierce Charles transfer latest
Away from interest in England and Scotland, The Star have reported that French outfit Strasbourg want the Wednesday shot-stopper.
The Ligue 1 club are understood to have seen a bid for Charles rejected earlier this week, but they remain keen on a deal.
Should they land the Owls goalkeeper, it’s said they would be willing to send him back to Hillsborough on loan and pay his wages.
Given their financial problems, netting a transfer fee, not having to pay wages, and getting the player back could be good for Dejphon Chansiri.
However, the report claims that a couple of clubs have already walked away from a potential Charles deal due to Chansiri and his unwillingness to negotiate.

What Henrik Pedersen has said about Pierce Charles
While transfer speculation continues, manager Henrik Pedersen has praised the young keeper for how he is behaving.
He said: “We have spoken about that. There have been a lot of things around, some negative but also a lot of things around in the positive way.
“To keep the focus on everyday training and every game, he is a young man but he has a big clarity on his behaviour and way of being, both on and off the training pitch and in the games. He has clarity to be the best he can be every day and I think he does that in a really, really good way.”
In terms of potential incomings at Wednesday, Pedersen made it clear he needs more players.
But Sheffield Wednesday have an unusual problem in the transfer market, with our transfer correspondent Graeme Bailey explaining that the Owls ‘are more inclined to look at loans first, as they need to be done before deadline day. The free agents can wait, in a way.’
