It’s been a pretty busy summer at Carrow Road with Liam Manning now at the helm and ready to start his own project in Norfolk. So, here are all the confirmed Norwich City transfers so far.
After a long and complex search for a new manager, Norwich City finally confirmed Liam Manning had made the switch from Bristol City.
The manager has quickly been given the resources to shape the Norwich squad in his own image and try to push the Canaries back to the promised land of the Premier League.
With Manning given a healthy transfer budget for his first season in charge, it’s not surprising that the Canaries have been one of the most active teams in the Championship during the summer transfer window.
With players coming in already, and plenty set to depart, here’s a rundown of all the confirmed Norwich City transfers so far.

Confirmed Norwich City transfers in
Norwich moved quickly to sign Jacob Wright from Manchester City, after a successful loan spell with the Canaries in the back end of the 2024/25 campaign.
The deal cost £2.3m thanks to a clause in his loan agreement, which was triggered once he started nine games for Norwich.
Norwich chiefs believe Wright can be a ‘huge’ player for the club in the coming years. Indeed, it’ll be interesting to see what he can do in his first full season of Championship football.
Norwich also bagged Jakov Medic from Ajax, with the colossal defender arriving for a fee thought to be around £2.5m. He joins Harry Darling as another backline recruit for Norwich, with the former Swansea man moving on a free.
However, the biggest of all the Norwich City transfers so far is the deal to bring Mathias Kvistgaarden to Carrow Road. We initially thought he would cost around £12m, but Ben Knapper and Lee Dunn discovered a £6.9m release clause for the Danish striker.
We spoke to a Danish football expert who told us Kvistgaarden is a ‘dangerous’ and ‘complete’ player, who will be a big success for Norwich.
Meanwhile, the Canaries have signed three goalkeepers, with youngster Louie Moulden joining from Crystal Palace, Daniel Grimshaw moving from Plymouth Argyle, and highly-rated Vladan Kovacevic coming in from Sporting.
Players Norwich City have signed this summer:
- Jacob Wright (£2.3m fee, from Manchester City)

The latest Norwich City transfer rumours
There are lots of rumours surrounding Norwich this summer, with players tipped to leave and new recruits on their radar.
Unfortunately, we’re likely to see two high-profile departures soon. Josh Sargent has an £18m price tag on him, with Burnley among those interested.
Meanwhile, Borja Sainz is set to join Porto for £14.2m. That’s actually a pretty good deal for Norwich, all things considered, and will make him one of the most expensive Norwich City sales of all time.
In terms of incomings, Norwich are tracking Pelle Mattsson, but face competition from Portsmouth for the Danish midfielder.
It is also thought Liam Manning has spoken to Tyrhys Dolan about a potential move, but the former Blackburn winger has a lot of options this summer.
