Hull City have learned when they will be given the chance to appeal an ongoing transfer ban.
Hull were hit with a three-window ban by the EFL in which they are prevented from paying any fees to buy or loan players.
Problems first emerged when it was revealed that owner Acun Ilicali failed to pay Louie Barry’s loan fee of £1m to Aston Villa.
Similar issues with other clubs also followed and in total, the Tigers still owe £22 million in outstanding fees.
Ilicali and the club have always protested their innocence and a date for their appeal has been confirmed.

When Hull City will appeal transfer window ban
According to Hull Live, the Humberside club will present their appeal to an independent panel on Wednesday afternoon (6 August).
A three-person panel has been selected and the result of their appeal will reportedly be revealed within 48 hours of the hearing.

The report states that members of the Tigers believe there is sufficient evidence to get the ban overturned or reduced.
Hull have operated shrewdly in the transfer market despite ban
Despite the restrictions, Sergej Jakirovic has still been able to add to his squad.
Akin Famewo signed from Sheffield Wednesday and John Lundstram joined the Tigers on loan until the end of the season.
Elsewhere, Oli McBurnie could also pick Hull over Sheffield United and reports have suggested that Hull will also offer Brandon Williams a contract following his trial.
They may be free agents, but these are all signings that work in Hull’s favour and bolster their side significantly.
