After what has felt like an eternity, Leicester City have finally got their Ruud van Nistelrooy replacement.
Marti Cifuentes was confirmed as Leicester’s new manager on Tuesday after the Foxes were the only side in the entire Football League without someone at the helm.
Cifuentes already appears to be winning the fans over and it won’t be long until they get to see him try and guide the Foxes back to the Premier League.
Leicester may have a nine-point deduction to contend with but until that’s official, Cifuentes is already out on the grass with his new team and thankfully, one familiar face is still there.

Andy King spotted with Marti Cifuentes in first training video
Andy King has been leading Leicester’s first team while the search to find Van Nistelrooy’s successor went on.
King is a modern-day Leicester legend after spending the majority of his career at the club, and is now in a coaching capacity.
Supporters made it clear they wanted him to stay, regardless of who came in, and he was spotted alongside Cifuentes in the Catalonian’s first training session.
As well as King, new assistant manager Xavi Calm was also at Seagrave after he joined Cifuentes from QPR.
Marti Cifuentes names the three things that made him join Leicester
Before Cifuentes was the chosen one, Leicester were linked with a whole host of candidates.
Gary O’Neil and Chris Wilder were interviewed by the Foxes and the likes of Danny Rohl and Sean Dyche were also in contention.
Out of nowhere, the 43-year-old was offered the job and in his first interview with Leicester, revealed why he chose the Foxes.
“First of all, the history; I know about how big the tradition of the club is,” Cifuentes stated.
“Secondly, I think there is fantastic potential and quality in the squad. I’m looking forward to working with people who have certainly achieved big things in football in this club.
“Third, we have one of the best training facilities in the world, a fantastic stadium and there is definitely a lot of things that attracted me.”
