Deals are coming thick and fast this summer, and we’ve got all the confirmed moves and latest rumours in one place with our Championship transfer round-up.

The summer transfer window has not disappointed so far, for neutrals at least. While some clubs are being a little slower than others, there are some teams in the second tier that have already completed multiple signings.

In just the last few days alone, Bristol City’s first signing came through the door, with Adam Randell arriving from Plymouth Argyle.

We’re expecting to see some pretty big moves take place in the Championship in the near future. Birmingham City alone could be very busy indeed in the next week or so.

Now, we’ve compiled all the best rumours in our Championship transfer round-up for the past weekend.

Ruben Selles is wasting no time at Sheffield United

We begin our Championship transfer round-up at Bramall Lane. There was a big change at Sheffield United this week, with Chris Wilder’s departure finally made official. He’s replaced by former Hull and Reading manager Ruben Selles, who is getting to work quickly, it seems.

Sheffield United are looking at Steven Alzate this summer, a player Selles worked with before at Hull City. However, Valencia are also keen.

Meanwhile, it is thought Oliver Sorensen is now allowed to talk to United about a potential move this summer. Midtjylland will let the Danish star leave, but they want £7m for him.

Southampton losing a number of players

Things appear to be going in the other direction for Southampton and Will Still. First of all, we know Kyle Walker-Peters will join a Premier League club when his contract expires this month, with Spurs, Fulham, and Everton all keen.

Elsewhere, Paul Onuachu and Kamaldeen Sulemana are leaving, with the former off to Trabzonspor and the latter heading to Atalanta.

Even the Saints’ pursuit of Lucas Cepeda has hit a snag of sorts. It’s a story that has been covered extensively in our Championship transfer round-up in the past, and we know the Colo-Colo star is keen to leave his club. However, he is unhappy with Southampton’s plan to buy him and then loan him out again.

Birmingham City winning the race for Tommy Doyle and more

Birmingham might just be the busiest team of all, at least according to the rumour mill. Our sources tell us that the Blues are likely to win the race for Tommy Doyle ahead of Wrexham this summer.

Meanwhile, former Celtic star Kyogo Furuhashi has hinted he wants to stay at Rennes. Birmingham were thought to be close to striking a deal for the Japanese star, but may find it difficult now.

One player Birmingham could snap up, though, is Carlos Vicente. The La Liga star says he wants to play in England, and we exclusively revealed Vicente has been offered to Birmingham already.

Craig Dawson was tipped to join Wrexham, but Birmingham are now in the hunt for the veteran defender.

Championship transfer round-up: Derby bag Carlton Morris, Norwich push for another goalkeeper

Wrapping up our Championship transfer round-up, Derby County have really started to make progress in the market. First of all, Carlton Morris will carry out a medical next week ahead of a move from Luton Town.

It is thought Andreas Weimann and Danny Batth will also arrive on a free transfer from Blackburn Rovers soon.

Down in Norfolk, we could see another goalkeeper join Liam Manning at Norwich. The Canaries already signed Daniel Grimshaw from Plymouth, but also want to push ahead with a move for Vladan Kovacevic from Sporting Lisbon.

Hull City fans want to see a new striker at the club, and they’re letting Acun Ilicali know that loud and clear. Oli McBurnie appears to be the most prominent target for the Tigers right now.

And finally, Preston North End agreed a loan deal for Daniel Jebbison. The Bournemouth youngster struggled with Watford last season, but will get another chance to show what he can do in 2025/26.
