Sheffield United are facing another departure this summer in the wake of their embarrassing 4-1 defeat to Bristol City.
The Ruben Selles era in the Championship for Sheffield United got underway with a shocking defeat at home to Bristol City.
Bristol City beat Sheffield United 4-1 thanks to a Scott Twine brace as well as goals from Ross McCrorie and Anis Mehmeti.
Some of the Bramall Lane faithful have already cast their aspersions on Selles, with one Sheffield United fan wanting Selles sacked already.
After Sheffield United fell at the first hurdle this season, reports have emerged that a member of the starting XI that were battered by Bristol City is wanted by Championship rivals QPR.

QPR eye move for Sheffield United defender Rhys Norrington-Davies
Championship experts shared a ‘frightening’ Sheffield United verdict after the heavy defeat to Bristol City, with the depth of Selles’ squad being a serious concern.
So far this window, Sheffield United have lost central defender Anel Ahmedhodzic to Feyenoord in a £7m move.
As well as Ahmedhodzic’s exit, Wrexham are interested in Jack Robinson, who was introduced for Rhys Norrington-Davies after 57 minutes against Bristol City.
In the wake of the Bristol City hammering, reports emerged in the Sheffield Star that QPR “see Norrington-Davies as a potential transfer option”, which could see another Blades defender depart this summer.
During his time under Paul Heckingbottom, Norrington-Davies was dubbed “fantastic” by the former Blades boss, but his form has dipped dramatically over the last three seasons.
Norrington-Davies endured a torrid afternoon against Bristol City, and when put out of his misery by Selles to be replaced by Robinson, ironic cheers could be heard from some sections of the Bramall Lane stands.
The Welsh international made an error which directly led to a goal for Bristol City, but Selles defended his decision after the affair.

Ruben Selles explains call to start Rhys Norrington-Davies over Jack Robinson
Selles outlined after the game that Robinson was not left out of the starting XI due to his links with a move to Wrexham.
Instead, Selles opted to play Norrington-Davies on the left of the Blades’ central defence between loanee Tyler Bindon and Harrison Burrows, which proved to be a gamble that backfired severely for the Spaniard.
As quoted by the Sheffield Star, Selles said: “Jack Robinson didn’t play in the last couple of pre-season matches and Rhys (Norrington-Davies) has done a good job, so that was why he started.
“Robbo (Jack Robinson) only joined us in the last couple of training sessions, and I decided to go with Rhys in that position, because he has done a good job.”
Although the QPR transfer team will have been less than impressed by Norrington-Davies’ 57-minute horror show against the Robins, he does have 13 international caps to his name and over 100 EFL games under his belt.
At just 26, the R’s could offer Norrington-Davies a chance to revitalise his career as minutes under Selles will be even harder to come by after his performance on Saturday afternoon.
