The updates are coming thick and fast in the Football League now as we head into August, so here are the latest deals and rumours in our Championship transfer round-up.
While teams like Norwich City and Birmingham City are recruiting like there’s no tomorrow, others, like Sheffield Wednesday, are losing players rapidly and showing no signs of replacing them.
Our previous Championship transfer round-up featured Southampton, Middlesbrough, and Coventry City, but now we’re turning our attention to the likes of Wrexham and Watford.
Here, we’ve got some transfers that are signed and sealed, and others that are pending confirmation, as well as a few big rumours doing the rounds.
Let’s see what’s going on in our latest Championship transfer round-up, shall we?

Championship transfer round-up: Wrexham want to pay big for Kieffer Moore
We start our Championship transfer round-up with a look at Wrexham. Everyone knows the Red Dragons are ready to spend big, but we never expected them to be going all out to sign Kieffer Moore. A £4m deal has been mooted, and he’s also going to be given a bumper contract, apparently.
Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson says he’s looking at options in the attacking area, but Moore appears to be the prime candidate as things stand.
The Welshman may be leaving Sheffield United, then, but the Blades are also looking likely to miss out on their own transfer target. Oliver Antman was thought to be close to joining United, but Rangers are now in for him.
Watford departures imminent
Watford have made some smart signings this summer. But now, the Hornets are looking likely to lose at least two players.
First of all, Ryan Porteous is having a medical with LAFC. It is thought a fee of £872,000 has been agreed between the two clubs and confirmation of the deal should be imminent.
Elsewhere, Roma are keen on Tom Dele-Bashiru. The Italian giants are thought to have made contact with Watford to arrange a deal already.

Millwall beat Middlesbrough to Alfie Doughty
Millwall fans are delighted with the signing of Alfie Doughty. He joins from Luton Town despite it long being suspected that Middlesbrough would snap him up.
Of the winners and losers in the Doughty deal, Rob Edwards and Boro will definitely be feeling disappointed. However, Edwards did just sign Abdoulaye Kante.
The midfielder joins in a £2.6m deal, but Boro are still fending off interest in Hayden Hackney. They’ve rejected a bid for now, but Ipswich are not looking likely to give up any time soon.
Championship transfer round-up: More chaos at Sheffield Wednesday
The inevitable finally happened at Sheffield Wednesday. Yes, Danny Rohl has left the club just days before the start of the new season.
Meanwhile, Callum Paterson has left the club to join MK Dons. He’s the latest in a long line of departures this summer, leaving the Owls squad at bare bones.
Most of the time in our Championship transfer round-up, we discuss those leaving Hillsborough. However, the Owls could sign new players soon.
They’ve got Man City and Arsenal youngsters on trial in Matthew Whittingham and Reece Clairmont, for a start. However, Wednesday are not going to sign Shea Callister, who was on trial after leaving Hull City.
