Happy deadline day, folks! Here’s our final Championship transfer recap of the summer as we look at all the biggest stories going into the last hours of the window.

The international break is upon us, but Championship fans can still get one last hit of dopamine (or disappointment) as we count down the remainder of the summer transfer window and look at all the biggest deals still to be done in the second tier.

While we anticipate the likes of Sheffield Wednesday and Norwich City to have a pretty quiet deadline day, with most of their business already done (whether they like it or not), there are plenty of teams with a lot to do still.

We are sure there will be lots of surprises to come on this final day of the window, but you’re very likely to find at least some tangible rumours that come to fruition in our latest Championship transfer recap.

Championship transfer recap: Wrexham set to snap up Ben Sheaf from Coventry City

Wrexham are gunning for the title of being the biggest spenders in the Championship this summer. Now, they’re on the verge of completing a £6.5m move for Ben Sheaf from Coventry City. It’s thought the Frank Lampard favourite is undergoing a medical today.

Meanwhile, the Red Dragons are among a host of clubs waiting to see what Everton plan to do with Harrison Armstrong. However, it is thought Preston North End lead that race currently.

Wrexham are also trying to sign Zak Vyner from Bristol City, but have had a £2m offer rejected by the Robins.

Bilal El Khannouss saga comes to an end

It was thought Leicester City would demand £40m for Bilal El Khannouss, but now the Foxes are settling for less.

El Khannouss is now close to signing for Stuttgart in a deal worth around £30m. We expect this deal to be wrapped up pretty soon.

As for incomings, Leicester may finally have found their Jamie Vardy successor. Feyenoord striker Julian Carranza is on their shopping list, but it remains to be seen whether a deal can be done.

Derby County sign Ben Brereton Diaz

We’ve now seen 13 new Derby County signings through the door this summer. Ben Brereton Diaz is the latest, arriving on loan from Southampton, prompting Derby fans to praise their recruitment team.

There’s also talk of Derby moving for Patrick Roberts. The Sunderland winger has fallen down the pecking order since promotion, and could be available for a permanent transfer.

Meanwhile, a story we didn’t expect to see in our Championship transfer recap is that Kane Wilson has joined MK Dons. He was a regular starter for Derby last season, but has now dropped down to League Two.

Championship transfer recap: Josh Sargent, Bailey Cadamarteri, Ivor Pandur

And now it’s time to wrap up our final Championship transfer recap of the summer.

Norwich fans were delighted with Josh Sargent this weekend. He’s been linked with a move away, but he bagged two goals and showed his love for the club by patting the badge in celebration. However, the Canaries could lose Kenny McLean to Rangers.

Blackburn Rovers had a £1m offer rejected for Bailey Cadamarteri this weekend. We’ve also seen Sheffield United try to sign the striker, but they were also knocked back.

Ivor Pandur is wanted by Middlesbrough and Leicester City. Apparently, the Teessiders might even send Seny Dieng to Hull City in exchange.
